Privacy policy
Last updated: 3 September 2026
This policy explains what personal data CryptosConnects collects through cryptosconnects.com, why we process it, who receives it, and what rights you have. It forms part of our terms of service.
1. Controller
CryptosConnects, a company registered in the State of Wyoming, United States, is the controller of personal data processed through this website. Contact: otc@cryptosconnects.com.
2. Data we collect
- Listing submissions. Name, company, email address, messenger handle, jurisdiction, role, and the commercial details of the buy or sell interest you describe (asset, size, price reference, settlement rails, procedure, proof position, free-text notes).
- Access briefs. Name, company, work email, jurisdiction, the side and market you are working, ticket size, settlement rails and acceptable procedure, and the plan selected.
- Billing data. Processed entirely by Stripe. We receive confirmation of payment, subscription status and invoice records. We never receive or store card numbers or security codes.
- Technical data. Standard web server logs kept by our host (IP address, user agent, pages requested, timestamps). We do not run advertising trackers or third-party behavioural profiling.
Do not submit special-category data, government identity documents, wallet private keys, seed phrases or banking credentials through our forms. We do not ask for them and do not want to hold them.
3. Why we process it, and on what basis
- To operate the database and deliver matches — performance of our contract with you.
- To screen listings and prevent misuse, fraud or resale — our legitimate interest in the integrity of the service.
- To bill subscriptions and keep accounting records — legal obligation.
- To send service messages about your listing or subscription — performance of contract. Marketing emails, if any, are sent only with your consent and can be withdrawn at any time.
4. Who sees your data
Listings are commercial data shown to subscribers. When you submit a listing you expressly authorise us to disclose it, including your contact details, to subscribers whose brief is compatible with yours — that is the purpose of the service. Listings are not published openly on the website, not indexed by search engines, and not sold as bulk lists.
You can withdraw a listing at any time by writing to otc@cryptosconnects.com, after which it is removed from the next refresh. We cannot recall a listing already disclosed to a subscriber before that point.
Access briefs are used internally for matching and are never disclosed to listing parties.
5. Processors and transfers
We use Stripe (payment processing), Hostinger (website hosting), and our form and email provider (form intake and transactional email). Each processes data on our instructions under a data processing agreement. As we operate from the United States, data submitted to us is processed there and may be processed by our providers in other countries; where required, such transfers rely on standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard.
6. Retention
- Active listings: for as long as the listing is live, plus 12 months.
- Subscriber records: for the duration of the subscription plus the statutory accounting retention period.
- Server logs: 12 months.
7. Security
The website is served over HTTPS and access to submissions is restricted to authorised personnel. No system is perfectly secure: we cannot guarantee absolute security, and you send data to us at your own risk.
8. Your rights
Where the GDPR, UK GDPR or an equivalent regime applies to you, you may request access to your data, its rectification or erasure, restriction of processing, portability, or object to processing based on our legitimate interest. Write to otc@cryptosconnects.com; we respond within one month. You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
Requests to erase data do not override our legal obligation to retain billing and accounting records.
9. Cookies
This website sets no advertising or analytics cookies. Any storage used is strictly necessary for the site to function. If analytics are added later, this policy will be updated and consent collected where required.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. The current version is always the one published on this page, with the date shown above.
