Questions we get before people subscribe
If something here is unclear, ask us before you pay rather than after.
The database
- Where do the listings come from?
- Every record originates from a listing submitted through our form by the party itself or by an intermediary holding a dated mandate. We do not scrape, buy, or resell third-party contact lists.
- How current is the data?
- Fresh leads enter the database every month and are delivered to subscribers daily. Records that go unconfirmed for two consecutive cycles are retired rather than left in place.
- Do you verify that the assets or funds exist?
- No, and we never claim to. We record what proof a party states they can produce and screen the listing for completeness and coherence. Verifying assets, funds, identity and good faith is the subscriber's own due diligence and cannot be delegated to us.
- Will I get the principal or another broker?
- Each record states the party's role. Where the listing came from an intermediary, that is disclosed — we never present a mandate as a principal.
Matching
- What do you match on?
- Direction, market and instrument, size band, settlement rails, jurisdiction, and — most importantly — the settlement procedure each side can actually run.
- How many matches will I get?
- It depends on your plan and on how tight your constraints are. A narrow brief in a thin segment may return two records; a broad one in a liquid segment returns many. We would rather send you three usable records than thirty that cannot settle with you.
- Can I browse the whole database?
- No. Listings are shown only to subscribers whose brief is compatible, which is what the parties submitting them expect. Open browsing would make listing unattractive for exactly the counterparties you want.
Commercial
- Do you take a commission on closed trades?
- Never. The subscription is our only revenue.
- How are payments handled?
- Through Stripe. We never see or store card details. Subscriptions run for a minimum term of four consecutive weeks, are billed weekly, and renew automatically week to week after that term until you cancel.
- Do you offer refunds?
- No. All sales are final, for any reason, including where you do not use the access or a counterparty does not respond. The price is set on that basis and you confirm it at checkout. Cancelling stops future weeks; it does not release you from the four-week minimum term.
- Can I share or resell the data?
- No. Access is licensed to your entity for its own transactional use. Reselling, redistributing, sharing or bulk-exporting listings or leads terminates access immediately without refund.
- Are you responsible if a lead does not work out?
- No. We are a media and database provider: we publish third-party listings and take no part in any deal. We are not affiliated with any listed party, we cannot verify the quality or truthfulness of any lead, and every subscriber acts at their own risk after their own due diligence.
- Do you provide consulting, tax or legal advice?
- No. We are a data business only. Where a question requires professional advice, we will say so rather than answer it.
